I think I'm in a mutually assured destruction situation with a mum on the school run. I recognised her tattoos for the extreme niche porn movies she makes. She saw the recognition on my face and the head shake confirmed. If I say anything we'll both be ostracised over it.

Reform will apparently pledge today that they'd abolish indefinite leave to remain - including retrospectively, to people already granted it. Obviously this is a moral abomination but it is also a practical and legal impossibility.
