“GenEds only exist so the college can make more money” - the core of the dilemma we face enriching and enhancing students’ learning power and potential.

I’ve taken science courses: they didn’t teach me to think or explore solutions. (Quite the opposite.)

History taught me that. Here with you!

Love it! Yes, magical!

I wish Paul had celebrated the 40th anniversary of Tug of War more. He did a special SiriusXM interview, and it was great, but that’s such an important album in his catalog! It deserves every anniversary!

I feel that, too. There is an uncharacteristic vulnerability with hints of optimism.

I also make Freedom a bonus track. That may be the most bonus track in the history of pop music!

I like thinking of it as a concept album, too. A restart for him in so many ways!

Is that an '89-'90 tour shirt? That's a great callback - what I'd pick for sure! We have routinely worn our 2010 shirts to 2014, 2019, 2022, future (hopefully)...

That T-shirt is great! I love it. Can't stop thinking about how much it says!

That's a great copy! Do you still have the '74 cassette? I love thinking about the plays and the environments such physical media encountered and enhanced! In the car, in the house, on headphones ...

I love thinking about the silly parts - Mrs. Vandebilt and the outro for Picasso's Last Words (Drink to Me) especially!

Comparing BotR to Mind Games (out only a month earlier in Nov. 1973) is staggering, and thinking about where Lennon was at that moment.

The outro to “Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five” is so good! It rises in intensity and then shuts off with the title song’s chorus!
December 5, 2024 at 8:42 PM
Yes! Adding now!
December 5, 2024 at 6:58 PM
I look forward to your thoughts about it! Beautiful pictures and behind-the-scenes info!

Must be… Alabama.

My typos notwithstanding! Oi those are noticeably bad.

That song they did in 2012 with the other two surviving members of Nirvana was pretty edgy! Good track, too. I think MCartneynplayed a cigar box guitar on it.

They are special. They are amazing. Great picture, thank you for sharing!

From our friend Kenneth Womack: “… Lennon heard a familiar voice crackling over the car radio. "F*ck a pig! It's Paul!" he exclaimed. And sure enough, it was "Coming Up," McCartney's latest single. To Lennon's ears, it was simply infectious.”

"F**k a pig! It’s Paul!": This McCartney song reignited John Lennon's competitive songwriting drive
John Lennon got his groove back when his Beatles-era rivalry kicked back on after hearing this song

I hope that doesn't make McCartney III the Godfather III…
November 20, 2024 at 3:20 PM
I hope so! That would be great!
November 20, 2024 at 3:19 PM
McCanon! Thats awesome!
November 20, 2024 at 5:52 AM
Wonderful! First bonus track on the archive edition. That's a cool one, too!

I couldn't help but share it! I've never seen that one. An interesting connection between the number of Super Bowls in that stadium and McCartney’s 2005 performance (albeit in Jacksonville, FL).

You don’t have to! Beatles and non-Beatles stuff, I look forward to your posts!

Wonder who will be required to pay for such tests? The families? The ISDs? The state? (I know, not the last option.)

I'm stuck on how great the new mix of #LivingInTheMaterialWorld sounds!
