Time for a new wave of PADS+ data collection. Visiting the PADS+ office meeting Kyle and Beth, and our new research assistants (Katie, Rhianna, Giulia) who will be doing the most important job interviewing the participants. And of course it was time for a coffee!

Enjoying a break in the Spanish sun and some very good books. Carruthers's just published book makes a good argument that philosophical treatments of action theory would benefit from taking better into account cognitive sciences, and, among other things, the role of habits.

Understanding the mechanisms of change in moral norms and its behavioural effects are crucial knowledge for crime prevention policy and practise. I have not seen any in-depth analysis of the changing moral norms of smoking and its drivers but that may just be due to my ignorance?
