Thought United were mostly very good in defensive structure - bar at set-pieces. Limited an Arsenal who had been flying from all angles again. Amorim was interesting on this after the game - but admitted the hard part is now the attack

Genuinely don't see a real issue with it. People have different beliefs and religious beliefs from all walks of life and it's up to them.

As good as he is when fit, he's completely useless to us injured. And that's now 95% of the time. Need to try and ship him out in the summer. I'd happily lose these in the summer..

Shaw
Dalot
Lindelof
Evans
Maguire
Casemiro
Eriksen
Antony
Rashford
Luke Shaw on his latest setback... 😥

Don't see how we get a result tomorrow tbf. A couple of months too soon anyway imo for a game like that to go and win. But no Martinez, Shaw and Mainoo with Yoro not fit to start makes it so much harder. Free hit imo. Hopefully Amorim pulls a rabbit out of his arse though.

The key thing for me this season is seeing continued progress in the team, playing style and set up, building towards next season. Top 6 and Europa League win would be a very good season and huge bonus.

Regardless of theresult Wednesday, I'm so confident we finally have the right man at the right time with the right structure in place to go and be a huge success.

Think Arsenal away Wednesday is probably a couple of months too soon in the process, but still going to be intriguing to see how we do. Bit of a free hit that one imo.

🚨 Ruben Amorim's impact and connection with the first team squad has been almost instantaneous. There is a warmth that has not been seen for some time and, at 39, he is viewed as relatable [Mike Keegan]

Going to be interesting to see the 11 Sunday now. I'd expect all if Shaw, Ugarte, Mainoo, Hojland, Mount to start and Yoro and possibly Martinez from the bench.

Amorim (unwittingly I’m sure) identified a very clear difference between his approach and Ten Hag’s, in his post match interview. He’s implementing new things from the outset - not trying to apply temporary fixes to win short-term. As Ten Hag proved, if you do that, the problems don’t go away.

Frustrating and poor performance and result yesterday, but I think that may turn out to be really good for us long term. It's a point of reference we can compare it too in 3-6 months time.

Absolutely correct too. This league season in particular is a free hit imo in preparation for next season. Get theprocess started ASAP and get theball rolling for the long term. Will serve us well.

It’s going to take time to change and Ipswich played well and deserved a draw.
But also find some comfort in the fact that we haven’t lost in 5 games and
City have lost their last
5 games🤣
