Yesterday our senior EP took part in a session to explore how to reduce young people not in education, employment or training post 16. We tried out card sorts to help young people work out what’s important to them and had a go with a virtual reality headset that they use for interview practice

Great team meeting this week, sharing our practice with each other - whole class consultations, Circles of Adults and the use of puppets to explain emotional regulation to a child using the Dan Siegel “flipping your lid” model

We’ve started our new school year in Portsmouth EP team delivering training for Harbour, our specialist Social Emotional and Mental Health school, on supporting children with literacy difficulties. Wonderful to see such motivated and dedicated teaching staff
