Not sure if this poster counts but the very early supposed AVATAR poster. I remember when everything you heard about the movie sounded more insane back then…and I kept getting more excited.

All my timestamps are messed up. My one camera has been on GMT for weeks, my blog posts only hit at 6 pm for some reason and trying to figure out how to stamp my film scans is hell. But anyway. Go birds at least.

It would really help if people would just talk openly about the tools they use.

Ha! Those things don’t bother me. Just saw SE7EN at said mall IMAX and yes it was rather loud. Looked great though.

The screen is so big in the converted mall auditorium the first row of seats block the screen. Silly! Fine when watching a widescreen film at least.

Ingmar Bergman’s CRIES AND WHISPERS comes to mind.

I do think Sandler has the highest dpi of anyone on the artwork though.

Found a handful of test rolls from Fuji that have been poorly stored for 20 years. Overexposed by a stop, will probably do 2 next time. I rather like the way this roll turned out though.

It’s an annoying thing that I love the view of the sky on my evening drive, so I’ve started stopping down my camera and throwing it into infinity focus just in case I need to take a snap. Worked out this time.

Okay I’ll post some film shots here. I was excited to bring a roll of Kodak Ektachrome E100 with me to a sunny Texas football game and it did not disappoint.

Without question this is his legacy, a moment that caused a ratings dip the show has yet to recover from.

Somewhat curious if I’m the only person in the world who opened Connections and immediately heard Björk singing “Cvalda” from DANCER IN THE DARK?

Recent Letterboxd activity. Pretty good lately. Should try to see a 2023 film eventually though. 📽️

Only 3 movies this week, all bangers tbh. 📽️

My recent activity on @letterboxd.bsky.social is finally on brand so I'll do the Friday post thing this week 📽️

If Letterboxd Friday is a thing still, then here it is. Need to update films I haven’t logged but don’t know when I saw them, which means the feed will get clogged up. For now, this is actually my 4 most recent viewings, including a print of the not very good CLASH OF THE TITANS. 📽️

If Letterboxd Friday is a thing I'll play along. A bit annoyed as I didn't actually watch PARASITE this week but found it hadn't been logged. Just imagine …AND GOD CREATED WOMAN (★★) is next to BULLITT. 📽️
