I always love watching how efficiently @tkingfisher.com goes about locating resources to utilize in her writing.
I don't know if she'd be willing to help, but @natacatarose.lesbian.cat probably has more practical experience with isotope stuff.
(She did her PhD after me so I'm a little fuzzy on her exact dissertation topic but I seem to recall her working with the isotope guy)

On Mass Effect, our love scenes -- soft-lit gentle scenes players got after getting to know their love interest for two-thirds of the game -- got called "virtual orgasmic rape" by Fox News.

Also reminder to romance authors that we only shoot ourselves in the foot if we try to play the "but we're not porn" game. Those of us who write hot/queer already get clipped on a regular basis, but nothing is "respectable" enough. Your turn WILL come.
Reminder that defending porn is an absolute requirement for the right to free speech. you will lose all autonomy trying to scrub uncomfortable content.

"Trans rights are human rights" is a thing not because "trans people are people too," but because the rights that trans people deserve are literally the same human rights that extend to EVERYONE. The right to express yourself and the right to access the health care that you need. Not negotiable!!!

One problem with this being the platform that everyone is moving to is that I haven't done any microblogging since 2014. That muscle has atrophied badly and I'm not sure how to get it back.
