Dear friends. I’ve done something different launching Legenda by targeting independent bookshops. I didn’t drive all sales to Amazon. So I’m relying on those of you that are reading it to share reviews & spread the word. I want this book to be supported by readers, not algorithms.

Do I have any friends in/near Hartlepool? Mads is trying to find a cheap hotel there to stay in before her university drama interview and its hard to tell over the Internet which are the horrific ones and which are the serviceable but cheap ones.
Looking on trip advisor but still a bit lost.

Rosoman was a fireman in the Blitz. The men in the painting died. It haunted him. He painted the scene many times.

He was later an important teacher; David Hockney was one of his students. He died aged 98 in 2012.

Glad that someone has finally taken responsibility for the appalling assault on democracy that was the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Slightly confused that it's the Director-General of the BBC, but what do I know?
