Grief is spiral rather than a straight line. We circle round and back through the raw pain. Each time it's easy to think we'll never climb clear of it, but each circle very gradually lifts us - towards lasting gratitude we ever knew the person, and knowing they would want us to move forward.

I'll go early too Simon. Up to £30 for anyone to buy children's books for their kids, their nephews or nieces, or any kids they know will enjoy them. The harder they find it to afford the books, the more I want them to take up this offer.
