How do you visualize the alphabet? (If at all!)

Investigating for a future game. So far, I've heard:

- Several rows of letters, sans serif font
- Column of speckled capital letters on a peach background
- Cursive on ruled paper, dotted center line
- A background that looks like old-timey wallpaper
