Something to pin, I think- a sampling of some of my favorite recent(ish) work!

I'm a character designer, except for when I'm an illustrator, which is all the times I'm not a teacher, and the rest of the time I'm...asleep ✨
An illustration of Martin The Warrior from the Redwall books- framed in a stone archway, crowned with a blooming rose. A javelin, ladle, and rabbit's mask are woven in to the thorny branches. In the distance we see fortress Marshank and the Sea Scarab approaching on the waves. In the margins, embroidered stoats and a leviathan are stiched into a tapestry. Several clowns! One unzips to reveal a crescent moon inside its head. One is robotic, with colorful baloons for fingers. Another is made of patchwork and filled with glowing light. The last is smiling, eyes on the bells of its hat, long trailing sleeves conceal confetti, flowers and a string of tied scarves. A character concept of Oca, an Ocarina Golem from Project Dragon aka Everhaven. It's body is terracotta and studded with holes like an ocarina, its arms are accordions that retract back inside the chest cavity. Wind chimes hang from its back. Wind spirits sit comfortably on its head, and play songs through its hollow chest An illustration of Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor from Disney Lorcana. Mickey is dressed in fairy tale adventure regalia, scissors for a sword, ready for battle
