I wanted to render thousands of trees in Blender 🌲🌳
The most effective method for me was using impostor trees,
which are just planes with a texture.
BUT, these planes always face the camera
AND show a specific texture showing the tree from this side.
This way they appear three dimensional.

Zoom into a human heart muscle cell, showing ions passing through membrane proteins, creating a small magnetic field.
