Great little story! Except for one paragraph, nobody’s sitting still. Takes me back to Newport and Laguna in the early ‘80s. Well done!

Congratulations! Can’t wait to read it. This is timely, as I’ve just finished writing a crime novel set in overlapping territory. Child exploitation and violence against women seem to go—pardon the phrase—hand in hand. Cherchez l’homme.

Now you’ve got me reminiscing about the time I took my mom (rest her soul) to the Park West to see Jackie Mason (rest his soul) and some skinheads showed up, taunted him, and got thrown out, and my mom had the best time ever.

My point being, sometimes the guy with the hair is the hero of the story.

Shameful. I’m surprised The Bean’s mirrored surface didn’t crack.

I read somewhere here that DT (Johnson) is planning to defer the swearing-in until Dec., after a TN special election expected to restore a R seat. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, they think they’re going to get another chance, and another after that, and so on… ad infinitum. There’s a word for that: entitled. (And other words I won’t use here.)

If you think this is bad, wait ‘til you hear about movies based on board games.

Late-stage Ferrero Rocher, in point of fact.

I love the Midwest, but they just can’t do Natural Wonders. Never get it quite right.

Was going to follow you based on pants and laptop story, but I already follow you. Nevertheless… congrats!
