I'll mute anyone I see posting AI "art". It's theft, and it's bad for the environment. Stop it.
In the UK.

If you are able to wear a respirator and don't, you're morally bankrupt, a health supremacist, a bad person, a eugenicist, a killer.
We're about to enter the 6th year of this pandemic, there's no excuse anymore.

The Government sees it as a “moral duty” to cut disability benefits.

I see it as a moral duty to call them ableist pieces of shit who want to kill disabled people.

The real moral duty should be to end poverty and tax the rich

Yesterday I put up my very first christmas tree. I've hated christmas for as long as I can remember because it meant a day trapped with abusive family.
After 3 years no contact I've started to like christmas 🎄❤️
It feels like a big step in my healing. Happy December for tomorrow everyone 🎉

If you don’t understand how disability benefits can be a net economic positive…
You don’t understand basic economics.

Every £1 you cut from disability benefits, you cut nearly £2 from the economy.

And you harm a vulnerable person.

A podcast I enjoyed decided to start using AI instead of voice actors as they've used previously. Immediately unsubscribed. Sucks because I was looking forward to this season, but I won't support AI use.

Eating a pbj is such a risky game for me. Either I'm fine or I'm inexplicably exhausted for the rest of the day. Today apparently it's inexplicably exhausted.

Took me 2 full evenings but I made my printer work with Linux!
Once I figured it out it was simple but Linux people apparently don't write documentation for people who don't know what they're doing so all the guides were like "find your printer's URI" and then nobody anywhere explained how 🫠

Does anyone else find it bizarre that the discounts on christmas stock have already started? Halloween stock was discounted in September too. Maybe I live under a rock but is this a new thing? Stuff being discounted before the event they're for has even happened?

Most of the internet has stopped working because cloudflare is down. I might actually have to go outside 😱
I do have to take a return to Asda so I might do that and hope I can return to watching old Law & Order episodes by the time I get back.

😕 so we don’t HAVE to do this, actually. If there was one crumb of public health leadership…

Tuberculosis outbreak declared in inner-city Edmonton: Primary Care Alberta | CBC News
Provincial health officials have declared an outbreak of tuberculosis in Edmonton's core, after lab tests confirmed two inner-city residents had the same strain of the infectious disease.

There's a Danish lifestyle shop called Søstrene Grene opening in my city soon and every time I see their name my brain reads "Soylent Green".

Private number called me twice, didn't leave a message. I wonder what people who do this are thinking? Either I didn't see the first call so I'm not going to see the one immediately after it, or I don't answer unknown or private numbers because I don't know who they are. Either way: leave a message!

Do you think those etsy witches who did the spells on CK would do spells on whoever it was at Microsoft that came up with Windows11? I resent them so much for forcing me to learn a whole new operating system against my will. Linux is fine, but there was nothing wrong with Windows10!

I must have owned at least 20 USB sticks in my life, I definitely bought 3 last month. Why can I only find 2 now? The USB monster eats them, I swear!

So annoying when something goes missing and you live alone. Clearly past me put the ratchet straps I need somewhere, but current me has done a sweep of the whole house and the car 3 times and I can't find them anywhere. I used them 1 week ago and they're just gone.

Got me an NHS covid vaccine because the adorable lads administering them deliberately misunderstood my conditions and ticked the immunosuppresssed box. They were deliberately misunderstanding any condition they could to give as many people as they could vaccines ❤️

One car door lock doesn't lock anymore and I'm poor so I can't afford to have it repaired when there's a perfectly good solution of ratchet straps.

I'm a big fan of a blanket cape to stay warm. If you wear it so the middle of the long edge goes behind your neck and you put some type of closure mechanism (eg buttons, poppers, ribbons) an appropriate way down each side then you can wear your blanket cape hands-free.

I wish I could explain to my cats that I still love them but they sat on my lap for too long this morning and my legs haven't recovered yet.

I wish I could say I feel vindicated by this long-awaited study, but I'm just... exhausted.

I take no joy in sharing covid info. This shit's horrifying at every turn.

But disabled people have to care doubly because the world doesn't care at all.

The past 5 years feel like 20.

DPD have "misdelivered" my frozen mouse delivery. 200 frozen mice is either a weird thing to steal or an unfortunate thing to deliver to the wrong person. I wonder if it'll have been opened?

Woman screaming full throated screams of pain in a house opposite, called the police because the ambo won't come out without an exact address, police stopped at the other end of the street and ignored the screaming, then left, so I called them back. The 2nd time they didn't even stop.

So wild to me that the bus doesn't have seatbelts. I think that's wild in the towns, although I understand why they're exempt, but on the winding A road at 60mph no belts seems foolish.

Love when the amazon driver arrives after my bath but before I wash my hair (aiming for both in 1 day!) so I answer the door looking my absolute worst, and he takes an actual step backwards in alarm 😂
