Entirely beside the point: shouldn't the anniversary of the U.S. Army's founding be called something other than the Army's "birthday"?
In fact, on deeper reflection, the term "birthday" is surprisingly graphic, and should be done away with entirely. "Day of Life" or "Life-iversary" going forward.
