The reality is when you eliminate cheap labor (immigrants), and couple that with higher cost of goods (tariffs), you are creating an environment ripe for inflation.

Replacing Powell because he won’t drop rates, is like pouring gasoline on the inflation fire.

So basically we are trading medicines for the poor, for weapons of war.

It was never really about cutting government spending or balancing the budget.

Trump, Hegseth promise record $1 trillion Pentagon budget - POLITICO

I don’t think there ever was a president that lost his marbles more than Biden.

Trump: Hold my beer…

Trump fundamentally does not understand what trade is. We do not subsidize Canada, we buy their goods.

This is like saying if we stay at Trump’s hotel, we are subsidizing Trump.

Confirming Hegseth is like promoting a McDonalds store manager that sexually harasses employees, is habitually late because they were out drinking, and making them CEO.

The bad-mouthing of California by the GOP should fuel Californians to take action.

1. Gerrymander California to take the House away from the GOP.

2. Federal payments should be net-neutral, this will bankrupt several red states.

3. Use the savings for universal healthcare and free college tuition.
January 24, 2025 at 7:24 PM
California’s economy is heavily reliant on migrant workers to keep farming production high and prices low. This is one of the major reasons Trump is threatening the state.
January 24, 2025 at 7:11 PM
It’s not coincidental that California’s state animal is the Grizzly Bear, as that is exactly what Trump and his cronies are poking.
January 24, 2025 at 7:09 PM
California has some of the most competitive districts in America, avoiding heavy Gerrymandering, unlike most Southern States. If Trump wants to play hardball with California, gloves should come off.

By redrawing their maps California could single handedly take away the GOP majority in the House.
January 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM
California pays almost $82 billion more in taxes than it receives back from the federal government. For years almost every natural disaster in Red States have been subsidized by California. The GOP should be careful who they are poking.

In 2020 Trump issued an executive order banning TikTok.

The courts overturned saying he overstepped.

In 2024 the GOP tried again to ban TikTok since college kids used it to get unfiltered election information.

Trump wins and now pivots to support TikTok acting like he supported the entire time.
January 19, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Trump trying to act like the savior of TikTok through a potential executive order is ironic, since he tried to ban it four years prior with an executive order.

Trump is claiming he is taking over a disastrous economy and a failing United States. Maybe he is confusing now with four years ago.

MAGA is planning on boycotting Costco. Costco should probably pull the bulk tater-tot casserole from their freezer section to prepare for the attack.

Matt Gaetz paying underage prostitutes and getting high as a member of congress would deserve a full investigation and hearings had he been a Democrat.

What would have been more surprising…that Matt Gaetz paid $100k for hookers and blow, or that the ethics committee couldn’t find any evidence that Matt Gaetz paid $100k for hookers and blow.

Let’s say Trump follows through and imposes 25% tariffs on Canada, basically decimating their economy.

Is the long term idea to have them become susceptible to control by the US? Kind of like a land grab like he sees his buddy Putin do?
