Just installed Steam OS in my Namco Noir arcade and wow.... It runs perfectly in its AMD hardware, no issues during installation, no hacks... Wow (again)

Last month been busy with some Megadrive coding, job trips.. So I needed some GB break! Here we have Four armed and ready to kick some ass! I added these glasses to give her some badass Motoko/Armitage vibes and helps her with her headache caused by the power up shot just received! Do you like it?

Finally I can play Tetris thanks to the customer service folks at Chromatic! I bought the console in eBay so no warranty and the Tetris game didn't work on the Chromatic (but works in everywhere else 😅) but even so, they sent me a replacement without charge, 100% nice guys! Now I can play versus!!

For the shell I used a RetroSix cream pack to match my GG Micro 🤣 Apart from the plastic quality you make the GG stereo with their audio board!! Now the sound is really really loud and the stereo is pure magic in games like Aleste 3

Las pantallas originales eran una castaña, yo la de está consola estaba bien, se pegó guardada en su caja unos añitos y al sacarla se veía así... Intenté quitarlas a lo DMG y nada, al menos hay recambios baratos ahora.

But due being laminated... As happens with original GB shells too, you need to make the screen hole a LOT bigger... That's a little bit pain on the ass...

Today has arrived the Funny Playing IPS laminated screen for Game Gear, so I used that GG with old failing screen and change it. This kit has the advantage that you don't need to remove more component than the old screen itself, uses a flex for bus soldering... Also laminated without borders!!!

And here we have the two intro pictures for the partner of Number Four, the robot Tin-Head! 192 tiles as usual and captured with the Analog Pocket that I think is the best place to do it. Now my goal finish the maps of the first dungeon!

It'd really nice if GBStudio add support to GG, they are more similar than people usually think, both have a "Z80" (more or less), same resolution... Even GBDK-2020 has started with some cross compatibility, hope I see that some day

McWill screen is dated from 2015, so I must installed it 10 years ago or so... The problem with GG mods is that you need to replace all capacitors with its really horrible fishy smell

Compared with my tons of GBs, I "just" have 2 GGs, the upper one in very good condition, boxed and with a McWill screen mod... I think it's time to fully mod the below one 🤤
