My hand in finger-less gloves. The back is blue string and the palm is thick black leather, but nearest the camera is the thumb, which used to be quite thick Terry-like cloth, but a lot of the fluffiness has been worn away over the last few years

Cornwall's first ever Winter Wonderland, as seen from over the fence. It appears to be just a regular fun fair, with rides and stalls of various colours. Leftovers in porridge today: carrot ends, orange juice, garlic, Greek yoghurt, birdseed, frozen pumpkin, frozen shortbread which I had thought was heavy cake, frozen raw ginger, used blackcurrant/black tea leaves, cucumber pickling gin, soya milk, blackcurrant jam
All of the ingredients mentioned in the tweet, plus the implied oats but minus the blackcurrant tea bag I forgot to include, laid out on the worktop The finished porridge in the pan: very thick and mid/pale brown, with a big splodge of Greek yogurt in the middle, on which is a big spoonful of blackcurrant jam

#FMSPAD 8/11 Something pink I spotted: it's #CleanOutYourRefrigeratorDay today, so here's some rhubarb which had been lurking in the freezer for a couple of years. It was #BritishPuddingDay when I made it, so the porridge also contains custard powder, as well as my usual "leftovers" #FMS_Pink25
Very thick porridge in the pan it was cooked in. Unshelled sunflower seeds and tiny chunks of carrot are visible under the surface. There's a big splodge of Greek yogurt in the middle, on which are three bright pink slices of rhubarb
