Some people on the list Reuters compiled from the documents it reviewed related to the interagency group have amplified Trump’s false election fraud claims.
One is former West Virginia secretary of state Andrew McCoy “Mac” Warner, according to two documents. Now an attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, Warner alleged while running for West Virginia governor in 2023 that the CIA “stole” the 2020 election from Trump.
Warner did not respond to a request for comment.
Other names found in two of the documents include at least four White House officials, an aide to Vice President JD Vance, and at least seven Justice Department officials, including former FBI agent Jared Wise, who was prosecuted for joining the Jan. 6 assault and is now on Bondi’s DOJ weaponization group.
Wise did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Two of the documents show the involvement of two CIA officers but Reuters could not determine what roles they may have played in the interagency group. The CIA is legally prohibited from conducting operations against Americans or inside the U.S. except under very limited and specific circumstances.
The CIA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The source recalled the group being told that the ODNI, which oversees the 18-agency U.S. intelligence community, had begun using what they called “technical tools” to search an unclassified communications network for evidence of the “deep state” and hoped to expand its search to classified networks known as the Secure Internet Protocol Router, or SIPRnet, and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, or JWICS.
The ODNI official disputed this as inaccurate and “not how the systems operate.” Reuters could not obtain independent information about the tools.
A "big pillar they pushed" at the interagency group, said the source, was purging officials involved in investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election and in compiling a 2017 multi-agency U.S. intelligence assessment that determined Moscow attempted to sway the race to Trump.
Gabbard said in July that the DIG had found documents showing former President Barack Obama ordered intelligence agencies to manufacture the 2017 assessment – charges an Obama spokesperson rejected as “bizarre.”
The 2017 assessment’s conclusion was corroborated by a bipartisan Senate intelligence committee report released in August 2020 and by a review ordered earlier this year by CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
Another focus for the interagency group was retribution for the prosecution of the Jan. 6 rioters, said the source.
Bondi tasked the DOJ Weaponization Working Group with reviewing the J6 prosecutions. Some of the documents seen by Reuters show that a smaller sub-set of employees from across the government have been convening on the topic. The Justice Department denied in its statement to Reuters that a separate January 6 group exists.
Among other issues the source recalled being discussed were the Jeffrey Epstein files, the prosecutions of Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, and the possibility of stripping security clearances from transgender U.S. officials.

A Stephen Miller tweet from 12:22AM on October 6 reads "ICE facilities are federal property conducting a federal mission of immigration enforcement that protects the lives and livelihoods of 300 million American citizens.

The President has undisputed authority under both statute and the Constitution to deploy troops, stationed in any state, to defend a federal facility from domestic terrorism or violent assault. (Just as he has the authority to dispatch any federal protective asset from and to any state).

The Portland Police have refused to render aid and assistance to ICE officers.

The intention and purpose of the attacks on ICE is to prevent ICE from performing its duties and to force as many ICE officers as possible out of the field and into a defensive posture.

It is a violent armed resistance designed to incapacitate the essential operations of the duly-elected federal government, by force.

A district court judge has no conceivable authority, whatsoever, to restrict the President and Commander-in-Chief from dispatching members of the US military to defend federal lives and property.

Today’s judicial ruling is one of the most egregious and thunderous violations of constitutional order we have ever seen — and is yet the latest example of unceasing efforts to nullify the 2024 election by fiat.

Remember: all of this is about preventing the removal of illegal alien trespassers from the United States at any cost."

I was sabotaged by someone in my own party for calling for Palestinian peace and statehood.

The corrupt elite are trying to take me down for exposing their Epstein ties.

I get publicly mocked by both sides for being a lone vote against defense contractor handouts.

The elite see me as a threat to their greed & power, so they're doing everything they can to stop me. Because they can't control me like they control other members. I won't be intimidated.

I understand why people want industry experience for regulators. I don’t inherently disagree (and we hired plenty of people from industry!). But when we did, we just had to make sure they had rock solid ethics and recusal agreements. Conflict of interest checks are a thing in Corporate America too!

The notion that government officials should regulate entire industries while maintaining complete isolation from those industries isn’t principled governance—it’s willful incompetence disguised as moral purity. The dirty little secret is that too many of the loudest voices in the Democratic Party think no corporation will ever be good enough.

Whining about RDP is similarly stupid – I ran the vetting of these appointees and I can tell you we were never once scared off because of a Jeff Hauser tweet

Their thinking isn’t without basis. After many businesses took risks in the first Trump term, what was their reward for speaking out? A Democratic primary season that vilified them, followed by what might have been the most anticorporate administration in modern American history. The Biden White House didn’t merely criticize bad actors—it embraced a sweeping anticorporate ideology that treated business as inherently suspect and threatened to dismantle the most prominent U.S. companies through needlessly aggressive antitrust enforcements. When cabinet members engaged constructively with business leaders, they faced attacks from groups like the Revolving Door Project, which systematically criticized appointees with any corporate experience.

This is some of the grossest politicization of death by an American politician I have ever seen. Who is "They" here? Sen. Young was trying to jam through redistricting (extreme gerrymandering) for the past month - why would Kirk's murder by a brainrotted edgelord make that more palatable?

Bruesewitz made the case to still-hesitant Hoosier lawmakers for a congressional map that delivers Republicans all nine Indiana districts, carving up Democratic-held areas in Indianapolis and Northwest Indiana.

“They need to recognize what time it is in our country,” Bruesewitz told Playbook. “We are up against a wicked ideology that cannot continue to have power in our country. And Indiana has a unique opportunity to take some of their power away, doing it through lawful means and doing it through legislative means, and they should listen to the president and get it done.”

Banks told Playbook that Trump is closely monitoring the redistricting effort — and similarly tied the importance of the push to Kirk’s death.

“They killed Charlie Kirk — the least that we can do is go through a legal process and redistrict Indiana into a nine-to-zero map,” Banks told Playbook. “And I sense it in this crowd, in a big way. And I sense it from supporters all over the state, that now’s not the time to back off. Now’s not the time to be nice. Now’s the time to engage in a peaceful and political way.”

Apologies for bringing stuff over from the Everything App, but this is untrue. I’m not sure where Matt lives but I have run into many NG patrols in NW, and I have seen a fair amount of federal agents as well (not to mention two brand new ICE trucks that were loudly booed by a whole beer garden).
