Goedam - pretty cool anthology of horror shorts. Liked some of the ideas, how they connected (and how they didn't), and some of the designs were also nice. #TVSky #series 📺

To The Devil A Daughter. A good, and sufficiently disturbing and creepy occult horror. I liked it. Christopher Lee is always a pleasure, everyone was good. #FilmSky #MovieSky

Hits harder than I remembered. I liked this in theaters, but I feel like it has more power than I initially realized. Good movie. #FilmSky #MovieSky

RIP. We knew this was inevitable the moment they showed their intent to sell. But it still hurts. One less studio, one more piece in an ever bigger machine. Less opportunities and places for art to go, less rooms for creators to create. Gonna be interesting. #FilmSky #MovieSky

Troll 2: More Trolling! (not the actual title) I like these movies. They are big, fun, have good mythology, and tell an old-but-gold story in a pretty entertaining way. Script has some issues, but I still had a good time. #FilmSky #MovieSky

Thanks to @blindwave.com I have discovered Neil Breen. Now, I only saw their reactions to his movies, but damn. Wow. It is inspiring in a way, to just get out there and do it, make a film, but there needs to be some desire to make it good, right? Anyway, fun reactions.

A Few Good Men (1992)

Sisu! This is a stunning movie. The concept is cool, and the film is pretty solid, though it goes on for too long (which is weird for a 90 minute movie), and is quite repetitive in its scenes and how they go. Also gets too unrealistic at times, but I did have a pretty fine time. #FilmSky #MovieSky

No one can deny that Spielberg's Jurassic Park is iconic and that he was the right man for the job, but Cameron's "Aliens with dinosaurs" would slap hard. #FilmSky #MovieSky
James Cameron reveals he almost directed ‘JURASSIC PARK’ before Steven Spielberg took the job.

“He was the right guy to make it. Not me, because I would have made it too terrifying and R-rated. It would have been Aliens with dinosaurs”

Four Favorites!

At least a couple of favorites, from my favorites (aka four great movies by great filmmakers)

No. 1 (for no real reason, but he's a legend): Martin Scorsese:
Taxi Driver
GoodFellas
Silence
Killers Of The Flower Moon

Curious if Rebel Moon will ever continue. If Zack Snyder makes it after The Last Photograph, or at some other time. If Netflix would even be interested. The director's cuts are good, and the story asks for a sequel/conclusion. Just no two versions this time please. #FilmSky #MovieSky

The perfect modern 80s action thriller, a banger, and a film that should have had an annoying number of sequels and spin-offs by this point. Well, it doesn't always work out. Would love another like this, perhaps with a political angle to it as well. #FilmSky #MovieSky

Started new show. As You Stood By. A revenge story, one after domestic abuse. Very hard to watch, those parts, and the show does good job portraying a lot that accompanies that. The leads are great, the two women, and so far very interesting. The show's also pretty. #TVsky #series 📺

Asylum! Again, good stories, interesting and cool concepts and ideas, solid filmmaking. These films have their magic. The supernatural meets with science of the mind here, and it is a fun time. I just love all the ideas and approach to these. #FilmSky #MovieSky

Tales from the Crypt! Another anthology, another set of good stories. There's comeuppance, there's lessons to be learned, there are some tragic, unjust stories and awful behavior. A bit too slow, but still good. Peter Cushing broke my heart in this one. #FilmSky #MovieSky

The House That Dripped Blood. Another fun anthology. Good stories, ideas, and a bunch of classic horror. I am enjoying these a lot. Also, another case for "I hate kids in horror" ha ha. Museum had some nice wide angle lens uses, like a more current film. Good stuff. #FilmSky #MovieSky
