Trying to get back into bsky.

Feels like my feed is mostly #rpg creators trying to sell their stuff to me. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s a bit overwhelming.

Maybe I shouldn’t have used that welcome pack.

Native American tribes lived in all parts of the Americas and maintained a thriving ecology for tens of thousands of years. European techbros ruined most of it in a few centuries. Never trust the techbros.

It might sound weird but I really like how small Cloud Empress modules are. In 6 to 10 pages, you have a pressing situation, a timeline of future events if PCs don't intervene, 5 NPCs with portraits, a minimap room descriptions, and a lot of room for improv and tying PCs to the place.

Pretty excited to prep a Cloud Empress campaign. Cloud Empress is a science fantasy setting and a slight rule hack of #Mothership, set in a world full of old tech, flying cities, poor farmers, and giant cicadas that are hungry for human bones and a source of magic fuel.

Notion wanted to bill me 80€ per month because their sharing a page feature is a broken mess. How am I supposed to understand the implications of inviting someone as a member versus a guest?

I can't wait for the global collapse to put an end to the AI craze.

I replay Super Metroid very casually every 5 years approximately, and each and every time I’m blow away.

The sound design, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the secrets, the little tricks you can do… This game was made by a team of 15 people, just amazing.

Now reading "Parable of the Sower" by Octavia E. Butler, a dystopian novel published in the early nineties and set in 2024. How timely.

I just found the perfect #mothership module to Segway out of dead planet: Warped Beyond Recognition (with the ship from said module "rescuing" my PCs who are very much in need of a ride).

I have two #mothership modules from different third party publishers: Resonant, by @weirdwonder.bsky.social, and Claws Out by people over at yeggership.hopto.org, that both name a mining operation Banquo.

They’re not the same place, so there must be a common reference I'm missing.

Time to go to bed and read Octavia E. Butler's Xenogenesis.

Trying bsky because of @chrisair.bsky.social as his nifty list of #mothership creators. Will this beat dice.camp as my go to social network for nerding out about RPGs?
