That we're (according to them) supposed to burn down mosques and temples, with the worshippers still inside if possible, but never bother to get up and move if we think that a landslide is about to take out our homes, because everything is a part of God's great plan.

When asked about things like diseases running unchecked in a world without physicians, they'll insist that bacteria and viruses don't really exist, and by the way, neither do the Moon or the planet Mars, and that even if they did exist, wouldn't matter, because it's God's will.

They see people whose ancestors came here in the 19th century as being intruders who need to be thrown out, and yet, at the same time, they see the Native Americans as also being intruders who need to be "sent back to where they came from" (that being Siberia).

Unless animals have developed the ability to teleport, that's not really an ecosystem. That's just a dodge to create the illusion, on paper, that the problem has been addressed.

But what one finds as a result of that effort is less impressive than the official numbers might lead one to expect. The state will cite the total land area covered by a prairie-like mix of plants, but then leave out the little detail of the nature of parcels of land so covered.

The last I heard, there was an effort to create new prairie, because of the embarrassing discovery that there were less than three square miles of that ecosystem left in the entirety of "the Prairie state."

Forests and fields are being replaced by farms and yards, to the point at which one can no longer find a place in the woods where one can't hear traffic noise. Also, developers keep chopping down trees inside of towns, for some mysterious reason.
