It's another level of sad when you realize it's because we love the characters so much more than any of them do. They should leave it up to the fans and the actors to write the eps, they're the ones who truly care about the characters.
It's sad when pretty much everyone in the fandom could've written a better episode than any of the paid writers ever have.
