Turns out my #supersponge datapack was broken for #minecraft 1.21.5 and above. It is now unbroken.

For reasons mostly out of my control I decided to redo my website - this time myself and from scratch, because I can't be arsed to use #Wordpress anymore. It's just a static page anyways, so I might as well.

Sneak preview for the next #tunnelrats update.

Update 1.1 will target MC 1.21.5 for now - maybe also 1.21.6 if mojang didn't break too much. But unfortunately it's not just an MC update I need to work on for the next update... 😉

Man I love #regex find&replace! I 100% wouldn't have updated this map if it was all in command blocks.

(it started with close to 900 results - and it only took me a few minutes to get to 200 remaining. It's only so slow because I'm looking over each file real quick to see if it missed anything)

Finally tackling the 1.21.5 update for #tunnelrats. Isn't it fun to update your maps after they were broken? 😩😅

My Vanilla #Timber datapack was (finally) updated to 1.21.5 today.

It was not only a compatibility update, it also brought diagonal block checks for trees like acacia or jungle and added Mangrove Roots to the blocks you can use Timber on.

I felt like trying something new - have a look at my first prototype of a #minecraft -y take of the classic #breakout game.

I played a few (more than pictured) so that you don't have to. They are mediocre flash games at the absolute best. They all have big "mobile game ad" energy.

I don't understand how you launch a feature like that with a bad lineup like this?

I guess I might just not be the target audience...

It was a productive few hours - 44 relevant files (hundreds lines of code) checked and modified, 35 to go.

Unfortunately when this is done my work won't be over - I've written probably a dozen or so TODOs, about half of which I need to tackle before I can start testing my sweeping changes.

Why did nobody tell me that I can write my own type definitions for #DHP? This is a #gamechanger for my mapmaking process, especially in data heavy projects!

I finally got around to updating my timber enchantment #datapack to #minecraft 1.21.2 and above. 🌳🌲🪓

It also finally makes it so it works as you'd expect: Breaking the block triggers the effect, not just clicking it.

Working on sorting our ideas and plans for #TunnelRats.

We'll see how many of these things are possible, especially considering cross compatibility. But we're definitely planning on working on and releasing TR 1.1 sooner than later.

Cooking something nice. It's not quite as versatile as I'd want it to be, but this is a good first step. Coming to a Java map download near you soon™️
