212 years ago, Henryk Kamieński—a Polish philosopher, economist, and democratic activist—was born. He introduced numerous innovative concepts to Polish political thought. In my paper, I take a comparative approach to analyze how he perceived pauperism.

The agenda for the December 1830 extraordinary session of the Warsaw Sejm was a heavily revised copy of the June 1830 version, full of strikethroughs. Under normal circumstances, the 🇷🇺 Tsar would convene the Sejm, but during the upheaval, his title was replaced with 🇵🇱 "dictator."
