315. Drivin’ Force. This Amiga game was the first arcade racer I got really into. I played it a lot. You got to race different vehicles, including trucks, bikes, and, if you unlocked the bonus race, jet skis. I loved it back in the day. Would love to play it again (please @evercade.co.uk) #365games

Next up, I finish The Long Earth series with The Long Cosmos. Really curious to see how this story ends.

It’s a book of quotes from Pratchett. Largely Discworld focussed, with a sprinkling from other places. I enjoyed it, but it’s short lived, and not as comprehensive as The Wit and Wisdom of Discworld. But again, a nice little re-revisit in my big revisit.

314. Wave Race 64. I played this a lot with my other N64 owning friends back in the day. It’s a really fun racing game, but the main thing is the water effects. There are better these days, naturally, but at the time they blew my mind. And that sunset level always made me want a Capri Sun. #365games

are going to be struggling with their mental health a lot more than I am. Sadly I don't have the answers at the moment, but I figure the more people who know what things are like out there, the better. Maybe then a change can take place somewhere down the line.

As I say, we're among the luckier people to be in this position. For now. There are so many people who don't have the savings we have. I've also been through mindset coaching, and I genuinely believe that has been a huge help to me in terms of my mental approach to the last few months. Again, others

is like these days. It's rough, and it doesn't get easier. And the systems put in place to help the unemployed are no longer fit for purpose. They weren't that fit before, but there was something. It now just feels like it says "You don't have a job yet? Tough luck. We assume you didn't try. Bye!"

that's a fairly privileged complaint to have, but I don't think it's a unfair one.
And I have other things I can put my energies into. I'm working on a number of creative projects at the moment, all of which I'm excited about.
I'm mainly posting this just to people are aware what being unemployed

"woe is me" post. Mentally, I'm tired, and occasionally frustrated, but I'm okay. We do have savings we can use. We'd rather not, as we'd much rather have our savings in the future, and have worked hard to have them. We shouldn't have to use them just to pay our bills, and mortgage, etc. I'm aware

and AI being brought in both to screen applications, and do certain jobs, are working against me. If the powers that be want to automate so many roles, they needed to put an infrastructure in place for the people doing those roles. But of course, they didn't.

a month. You can only claim it for six months. But with the current climate for the unemployed and/or looking for work, that doesn't feel like enough. I'm far from the only person who has been in this position.
For my part, I feel like a combination of age discrimination (I'm not a young go-getter)

or just not showing up when I had done so, that I told them to stick it (I was a little more polite than that). The final one is a sort of interview I had last week, but it was all digital, and I have yet to speak to a real person. Don't know the outcome yet.

I did get feedback from both, but it wasn't helpful, sadly. One said in the interview offer that if I needed an alternative date, to ask. So I did, and never heard from them again. Another messed me around so much in terms of sending me invites that didn't arrive until days after the interview,

Okay. I've had enough interest in this that I'm going to attempt to go ahead. Had plenty of writers reach out, but could use a few more artists, if anyone's interested? It's also currently very white man heavy, so if anyone who isn't white or a man would like to come in, please do let me know.
