Reading in “Blind Man’s Bluff” of Sailors going overboard in the Barents Sea. Others were on deck with little protection due to fires/fumes below. Sea temp could have been around 6C (~43°F). Worse case this would put anyone overboard at risk of “high probability of death” within 2 ½ hrs.
