Looking out over the Roe Plain. This ancient seabed sits just below the Hampton Tableland that holds the fragile & in danger Nullarbor Plain. Save The Nullarbor! www.savethenullarbor.org

Thursday Throwback!
Near Barossa Valley heading toward Adelaide. Green begins to dominate after 2,500km+ of red outback dirt and the pale gold of wheat fields. Not long after is the ride down Gorge Rd into Adelaide. A highlight of the ride.
7 weeks to go. 1 riders registered so far. #ipwr25 🍕🚴🍍

Thursday throwback! Sunset at Caiguna at the eastern end of the famous 90 mile straight. Pic from 2022. Have been rained on while crossing the 90 mile straight 3 out of 4 times. Two of those were big thunderstorms.
8 weeks to go, 16 riders who have already registered GPS tracking devices. #IPWR25

Registrations have just opened for the 2025 Indian Pacific Wheel Ride. My 6th start & hoping to make it to Sydney in 28 days for a new PB. Solo, single stage, unsupported, set course, bike-packing adventure across Australia.

Should probably start doing some training rides. 🤣

Wet season has started in FNQ. Green is the predominant colour as the new sugar cane grows and the rainforests cover the surrounding hills.
Training ride ready for my race across Australia in March.

Either my Wahoo is playing up or Cairns is going through an unseasonal cold snap and is the coldest place on earth today.
