The kids have been back every day. The male is tail-wagging and bringing me gifts, practicing his courting behavior. At about the 1:10 mark he goes into full-on dance mode.

The new crew of roadrunners has come by the past 3 days. These are the youngsters hatched early in the spring (their father, I believe, is the one who brought me gifts). These guys are very friendly and playful and a joy to watch. I "showed" them how to eat from the pan.

Am a caretaker for a relative. It's a difficult life that isn't really my own. Last week was so stressful. I had been planning to acquire these matcha tools a bit at a time. This morning I went to the tea store and blew a bunch of money (for tight-budget me) on this. Not regretting a thing.

These roadrunners visit me daily to chat and have snacks. The male is on the right. He always ends up sitting in the pan. They will stay and visit if I go outside UNLESS I have a phone/camera in my hand. Then they run off.

I have roadrunners who visit my patio daily. One little guy was bringing me a daily present until he got a rr girlfriend and I took 2nd place. Some of things he brought me are pictured. Not shown: a dried bloom that fell apart and a lovely feather that blew away.
