Sorry again for the lack of posts over the past few weeks. I think I am somehow still recovering from the brain fog cause by my last bout of COVID though I think there is an oncoming depressive episode with how bleak the future is looking in many different aspects of life. I have a few drafts going of things I want to talk about but this seems the most important right now as I am beginning to prep for my last semester in college, and my thoughts on laying out my plans for the future.

That at a certain age it’s no longer ok to like something? First off, I just want to say sorry for the lack of posts the last couple of weeks. I unfortunately caught COVID again and it really left me in no condition to really do anything but sleep for 5 days. But as I stated in the title, why do people think that just because you reach a certain age that it is no longer ok to like something. For years I have constantly seen and heard people complain, make jokes, or just show some kind of disdain for people that like things that according to them, they should have aged out of.

But I have been an artist far longer than I have been in college. I started drawing when I was probably about 12 years old. Maybe it was a little later. But the point is I have been drawing now for something like 15 years or more. Now I will note that it hasn’t been consistent and I’ve never drawn (until the last few years) as much as someone wanting to be a professional probably should.

It has been a couple of weeks since I have posted a new blog on here, and I just wanted to put out a little year end wrap up before it gets to late and too far into 2025. But stay tuned for more of my regularly scheduled content coming soon (I actually already have a really big blog coming out soon, maybe even shortly after this releases). 2024 was a big year with many ups and downs. I'm sure that pretty much everyone can, will, and has said this already.

From a young age I’ve always had this fascination with watches. I’m not exactly sure what about a watch draws me in. But I’ve always found myself checking out displays in stores whenever I walk by one. It could be the fact that it’s an accessory that has more of a purpose. Or that I just like the design. Or maybe it has some unique functionality that you wouldn’t normally expect a wristwatch to have. I truly think everyone should wear a watch. I think it is a useful everyday item that we can carry that can give us commonly needed information in a way that is easy to carry and quick to receive.
