This is compounded by the memory I once arrived at a rental car counter and tried to hand them my IWW red card, same color as the credit card I left at home. So it could totally happen with my passport 😂

Local cops have shot straight at me, barely missing in 2020 while I gave first aid to an injured protester. Wearing a medic armband with a medical kit. Nothing they do surprises me.

Also bc science isn't about trust. It's about asking questions and understanding how to assess levels of evidence. Science IRL includes errors. Replicate, don't trust.

Oh, agree! But in my daydreams about where I could hide out if the fed comes for me for doing gender affirming care, I imagine finding those nuns in the woods out here and joining up. I'm in Humboldt where some of it was filmed. My personal Mittyesque fantasy. Silly but weirdly comforting.

That's what I came to say, that there IS a movie for this, and if the future doesn't include militant nuns it will be very disappointing

He told me he could arrest me, yelled at me until I cried. You cannot win with ICE or cops is my point. The problem is ICE, not you. There's no right move except to abolish them completely.

I was in a crash like that once, except I was in the first car the middle car got knocked into. We didn't think anyone was hurt so we exchanged insurance info and left. Turns out my neck was broken AND I got yelled at by a cop for leaving the scene of an accident with an injury-- my injury.

I say "I think" if am talking about using reason. If it's an observation then "I've seen". Predict, estimate, surmise, propose... so many options without belief or certainty. I only say I feel about the feelings aspects... which is a lot lol. Feelings matter. My key positions are all feeling based.

Lol especially when the pharmacist has just left a message bc out of stock asking for substitute and they don't mention the prescriber option until the very end of the menu, and the patient is standing there waiting.

They don't get that endemic is worse than pandemic. During the initial pandemic phase we could have stopped it. Endemic means entrenched. Like other diseases killing huge numbers-- malaria. Tuberculosis. The masks may be needed for our whole lives.

Legal? Of course. Public opinion? Sweep away. There's not going to be anyone in there I will feel sorry for. I've already convicted anyone who was a friend. Guilt by association in this case is entirely correct. I'm fine with a "decent folk don't go to parties thrown by pedophiles" standard.
