In St Albans, £1,400- £1,600 in the city centre. Last time I rented as was a student, and I paid £28 a week. My son, now a student, is in accomodation costing £260 a week.

Thought it was early 60s but it was built in 75, and we moved in Dec 1981. So it really has had one guiding hand over it's life. We moved there when I was 6, so I had all my xmas, birthdays etc there, and our kids spent some of their xmas there too. Haven't lived there since '02 but still "home"!
