This book is a great read on working homeless in America. Having been a paycheck or two away in my earlier life I thought I knew, but I didn't.
So many people are about to suffer because the programs we have aren't even enough.

1) allow SNAP to expire, blame the dems, & hope for civil unrest.
2) have geezusgodtrumpdaddy jump in & *SAVE THE DAY!* & still blame the dems, but ppl will be so grateful they'll worship geezusgoddaddy even harder. 1/2

😭 This is fucking bad. People are out spending their SNAP benefits because they have been led to believe that the government is going to clear their cards. They're not going to have a buffer zone. I had a lady that had $300 saved up on her card & she is not spending it.
