Am I a poet dreaming that I'm a possum? Or a possum dreaming about eating all your bird seed?
And here's another poem just published that is closer to my heart about Postpartum Depression. Many thanks to Lit Cleveland and Jeanette Beebe for seeing the potential in my poem and helping me polish it to a shine.

3 more poems from me about being attacked by a bison, facial blindness, and the thin line between superstition and belief.
These three poems by Cam McGlynn are obsessed with irony, belief, and how our cognitive biases and abilities affect how we interact with the world, whether we like it or not: acrossthemargin.com/three-poems-... #Poems #Poetry

My latest work. The title is a true fact, if my daughter's science fair project can be trusted.

When my friend moved for a season of field work
onto a rocky Galapagos island,
she told everyone she got a boob job,
just to watch their eyes drop down
to her B-cup breasts in confusion.

Doing career today at my daughter's school today while desperately hoping that I'll still have a job after NIH funding cuts and layoffs get processed later this week.

This has the makings of a great poem, I keep telling myself.

This might be the most petty problem I have right now, but the new government-mandated email signature I have to use at work is so ugly. If we must grovel at the feet of tyrants, why couldn't it be one with the barest knowledge of graphic design?

4 of my weird little poems are in issue 8. They were all joyful puzzles to write.
#Ranger Mag just dropped another double issue (#8 and #9). As usual, it's jam packed with the best experimental poetry, art and music of the international avant garde. Check it out!
