Right, I've had it. Here is hand-made human slop. I have fully obsoleted the current market trend technology in one fell swoop.

I have won the entire US economy in one fell 5 minute mspaint swoop. Proof included.

A crossover comic b etween Final Fantasy V and Quest 64, with copyright attribution to Square Enix and Imagineer Co., Ltd respectively. It is called an "Epic Crossover Comic!!!" It's signed by "Massey," dated October 25th, 2025, and pinkdodecahedron.bsky. The left logo has a joke where the dragon is sticking out a tongue with a 'mlem' sound. The first image to the left is from Final Fantasy V, where the Wind Crystal has already shattered. The scene shows blue ground, the greenish altar having an empty gap in the center where the Wind Crystal once was, and its four split shards. There is the addition of an old robed man standing on the end of a red carpet before the Wind Crystal's altar, flanked on either side by lit candles. Five are below him. Featuring characters (called "oni", from the Japanese mythological figures) from the upcoming GBC-style monster catcher game Yamikids!

I never made a shitty Sonic drawing as a kid, so now is the time.
Depictions of well-known video game characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. To the left is an egg-shaped effigy of Dr. Eggman, who says across two different kinds of text: "You're too late, Sonic! We have become COMPLETELY OFF MODEL!" To the upper right is a mass of orange squiggles with gray marks for eyes and tufts of white fur, with red triangular shapes for shoes. This is supposed to be Tails. To the lower right is a greenish caricature of Sonic the Hedgehog, with misshapen and misplaced quills around his head, three legs, and - most damningly - blue arms. He says in partially cut-off text: "Dang it." It is signed "Massey '25" in pink in the center, on the off-chance this takes off on the internet and Sega buys the rights to this vastly improved aesthetic design for these characters, and I'm absolutely positively not twenty years too late to cash in on the memes at all.

While this bizarre lot may not end up being a thing at all, these three - among the sketched up cast of fourteen(-ish) - got the most love across friend circles, so here they are.

A series of three strange characters of varying shapes. The one on the left, in lime green, is Checkpoint Shale, who is made up of an upper-left and lower-left corner bracket, a thick center line, and two sets of angular lines towards their right side. The one in the middle is Jhfgn, a darker green pile of indeterminate make with two antennae-like protrusions that are disembodied from the rest of itself. Two notches, the left one more sunken than the right, resembles eyes. The one on the right in a reddish hue is Glueburt, who seems to be a mostly triangular shape, if imperfectly so due to bumps. A divide at the very bottom of this triangle-like body resembles a smile. Two dots above it, on either side, resemble eyes. Beneath each of them is a miniature version made of their actual MegaZeux ANSI character art, and their name in off-white default MegaZeux text.

Putting together the beginnings of a little #megazeux world, posing around some of its denizens seen in an earlier post.

Still not sure we'll see their story, if there is one, but rest assured: they think what they're seeing out there is really freakin' weird.
A strange space made out of ANSI graphics. The skies are a very dark green, crackling with green-gray energy. The land seems to be made of the same empty dark green, with a conspicuous opening into the void to the left. Red blocks with off-white blocks denote the walkable space's borders, layered on top of a teal, then dark red layer. Random off-white music notes are floating underneath them, suggesting they are load-bearing. Three strange structures rise from the top, one of red and gray brick to the upper left. The center is made of lighter green with grayish arrows pointing to the left. The one on the right is made of indigo hash marks against a dark purple background. Numerous characters, made of hard-to-see one-by-one blocks, can be seen. There's a lime green entity near the gap, a dark red one near the upper left house, a grayish one (in the shape of '#8') near the center house, and a hard-to-see dark purple one near the upper right. Towards the center is a black-colored smiley on a white tile. Just to the southwest is a duller green entity that looks like it has antennae. South of the black-and-white smiley is a brighter red entity with two small dots above an undefinable body shape. Very difficult to see furthest to the east of the bright red one is a set of four magenta dots aligned horizontally. There is nothing of note happening, beyond the gathering of strange shapes and colors.

Grumpy Oldbie's time has come and gone (twice). In August 2000, I had plans for a sequel as game made in OHRRPGCE. It would've had a cast of nearly three dozen nonsensical characters.

Here's a 2025-ized look at the best(?) ones from that planning document.... without further context (naturally).

PREFACE In honor of a younger man's fast held belief, twenty-five years ago to this day, that entertainment did not require any of the following: Relatable characters, strong themes, a narrative, actual prose, coherency, or frankly any reason to be a thing that exists at all. Simply typing the first things that came to mind in a text file was sufficient to create. Thus came the next logical step, where it was deemed sufficient to share after the great four kilobyte work was completed. This ancient text work, posted in an obscure AOL forum that named itself after a Square Enix character, was met with little engagement but great confusion in its very short-lived day of July 19th, 2000. It has now been lovingly re-rendered in the medium of Microsoft Paint. It has received only minor changes to the "script" as it once was, but a proportionally equal amount of workmanship and production values to the original text for sake of authenticity in presentation. Any new context or meaning to be gleaned by consequence of adopting the medium of "a terrible MSPaint comic" is, at best, coincidental - and a freak accident at worst. Twenty-five years later, the following work still contains absolutely nothing beneficial, in any known field of education (as the original text proudly stated). The younger "me" of that far-gone year of 2000 would never have had it any other way. It is signed "Massey" in cursive, underneath the year 2025, with the listed bluesky handle pinkdodecahedron. Underneath the statment is a collection of the featured characters of Grumpy Oldbie. They are all drawn terribly, and will be described individually in later pages as they first appear. They are arranged around a rectangular logo, reading 'Grumpy Oldbie.' To the lower left is the head of the lead character, Generico. Two amorphous blobs with straight limbs, one with a green circle, another with a red triangle, celebrate existing as works of fiction. A third amorphous blob with joints in their limbs and a blue square self-aggrandizes their importance in this canon, leading to intellectual disagreements started by the other two amorphous blobs. Despite the third amorphous blob's beliefs they will not receive satisfaction, they were drawn outside of the panels, the first two amorphous blobs succeed in this ambiguous contest of ambiguous stakes. As they celebrate within this same forbidden area outside of the panels, a sequel hook appears in the form of a pink dot with thick lines emanating from it, though detached from the dot. It is signed 'Massey' in pink text, on the date of June 24th, 2025.
