We had a spontaneous beach trip to the gulf yesterday which sucked tbh. The beach was crowded and the aquarium was like the fish aisle at petsmart. Seeing the little mangroves in front of the hotel where my sister was working was the highlight

We couldnt figure out how to get where those other people were, we were literally on the fire exit outside lol The most unflattering pic of the foot wash pole turtle at the beach Mangroves!! Manicured and trimmed tho. Then a mysterious plastic chair on the waters edge (yes i went and sat in it)

#comicsdna specifically comics that got me drawing when I was 7. Honorable mention is One Piece, which I been reading since 2004. Also in high school when I got really into Dragonball, Ranma, and Year 24 Group works like Heart of Thomas and From Eroica with Love.
Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey. Our first grade teacher read these to us. I was obsessed with making my own flip-o-ramas or whatever they were called Pokemon comics by Toshihito Ono, these were published as floppies instead of perfect bound thick books like we see manga done nowadays. I remember buying these from Eckerd's rip. Something Queer at the Haunted School by Elizabeth Levy, illustrated by Mordicai Gerstein. This was the first thing I read that was more of a picture book with comic elements. It showed me you can just do anything theres no strict format. Screen shot of an old issue of The Neopian Times comic section. I don't remember a specific series I liked but I read these every week. Constantly was submitting my own but never made it :/
