[📌] Hi I'm Val! (or Pine or Ni) I like to describe myself as a character artist who loves environments, I do a lot of fantasy art of queer characters in nature scenes & I like to squeeze narrative elements wherever I can.
I make original games, short comics, & zines! I'm currently in a purple phase
a dark underwater scene of a mermaid swimming through several strange coral-like plants on the sea floor my oc shen sitting casually on the ground, leaning back on one arm with the other draped loosely over his leg. He is surrounded by a border of forest plants, berries, and nuts three panel wordless comic of two knights, a lake spirit and an orc, eating a meal together in their off time. The first panel shows both of them sitting in a grassy area, their backs to a stone wall. The knight has prepared skewers and veggies and the orc has brought a bottle of wine with glasses to drink it out of. The second panel is a close-up on the orc, who is enjoying a skewer, holding her glass of wine in her other hand ready to follow her food up with a sip. Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.
