A fascinating evening sharing all things The Handmaid’s Tale. This book is more contemporary than ever. People must read it and reflect on it. We were in charge of spreading the word!

I brought a copy of an 18thC collection of plays (+ an essay) to class. Students had a wonderful first time touching history! The owner of this book was Elizabeth Davis, née Jenkins, (1736-1810) from Priston, Somerset. Excellent example of female ownership.

Very happy to share great news!! The book British Theatre and Young People edited by Uğur Ada and published by Routledge is out next month! Hats off to our lovely editor for all the hard work. I had the best time exploring these two texts.

The Morgan Library looking fabulous this morning. An unexpected exhibition about Kafka previously displayed at @bodleianlibraries.bsky.social. Overall, a delightful time in this wonderful venue. Back to Madrid soon, sadly.
