The door clicks shut behind them as Chan drops the bags onto the kitchen counter, a tired but content smile tugging at his lips as he glances over at Jisung. They’ve spent the afternoon running errands together, but now that they’re home, there’s only one thing on Jisung’s mind. Without a word, the vampire takes a step back, his eyes lighting up with that familiar, mischievous glint. In the blink of an eye, he’s gone– replaced by a small, dark bat that flutters lightly around Chan’s head. Chan chuckles, shaking his head. “You know, you could have waited until we put the groceries up,” he says fondly, reaching out carefully to catch the tiny bat in his hands. "You're lucky you're so cute." Jisung chirps softly, his tiny wings fluttering in as Chan cradles him gently, pulling him close to his chest. The warmth of Chan’s touch calms him instantly, and he nestles into the soft fabric of Chan’s hoodie. Chan makes quick work of putting away the items that need to be refrigerated, deciding to worry about sorting the other things later. “Look at you,” he coos, making his way to the couch. “My little batty baby, just need a nap now, don’t you?” Jisung blinks his tiny bat eyes slowly, curling his small body into the cozy pocket of Chan’s hoodie as if it’s the safest place in the world. He chirps again, a high, cute sound that makes Chan’s heart melt. “How do you always manage to be this adorable?” Chan murmurs, settling down and adjusting his hoodie to make sure Jisung is tucked in just right. He lets his fingers trace the soft fur of Jisung’s little bat form, the sensation making him smile. Jisung’s chirps quiet down, and his tiny wings flutter once more before he stops moving, resting in the warmth of Chan’s embrace. The soothing rhythm of Chan’s gentle petting seems to lull both of them, and Chan leans back against the couch, feeling his own eyelids grow heavy. His hand continues to stroke the bat’s soft fur, and his breathing evens out as sleep begins to take over. Eventually, everything in the apartment grows still– only filled with the soft sound of Chan’s snoring and the occasional rustling of Jisung in his pocket.

I have been told by people with visual impairments that it's great if you give a brief summary and then go into as much detail as you wish. Many people love the extra details but those who only want the basics can easily make their screen reader skip the rest of the description.

Something I've wondered with alt text because I'm not used to it, is it better to be brief and give a general idea or in depth on what you put in to it to give a clearer picture for those who need it? I don't know which is preferred but want to be accessible.
