I wrote a macOS application that works with Blacktop's IPSW tool. This app is really simple to use and allows anyone to remove Apple's AEA encryption format. The app is free and available on GitHub, requires macOS 15.0. Let me know what you think about it.

I took a look at the iOS 26 ipsw and found that in the Applications folder no apps’ app icons had the new glassy design. Does Apple handle the glass effect via code ? This changes everything for app icons in iOriginal, because icons are the same as on iOS 18.

I’m almost done with iOriginal 2.0. I’ve added the new operating systems wallpapers and am working on adding the app icons for versions from macOS 11.0 to macOS 15.0.

Trying a new all Liquid Glass design in FastScanner. Gotta admit it looks very nice, but the work to rewrite everything is really a lot.

I think the hardest rewrite I’m gonna make is FastScanner. Is the app that has more UI bugs than the others and I thinks a new architecture behind the scenes is needed.
