10^^14 kg = 100 milliards de tonnes, c’est-à-dire un cube d’eau (un glaçon 😁) qui ferait… 4,6 kms de côté

Even less (please use link); magnitude in Bluesky is the initial magnitude. Usually but not always it is close to actual value

A few years ago, an excellent film was released, based on one of her short stories: Suite française. Heartbreaking to learn she didn’t survive the war,,,

Hi John,
May I ask you what app (if any) do you use to achieve so wonderful results (in addition to your own exprience of course). I tried two of them, not totally satisfying (some surprising results), to colorize family photos (my unique goal).
Cheers
Pierre

Thank you John. So much talent… Hmm, you should consider colorizing the entire Auschwitz album 😇
That would make sense and give justice to all of them

Thank you John 🙏
I imagine you knew it ; the place where they are waiting was called ´Birkenvald’ (birch forest).
Less than an hour after the photo was taken, everyone was dead.

Just thinking… By chance will you happen to colorize this photo ?
It is part of the Auschwitz album, should be photo 142 or 143,
I wouldn’t say this photo is one of my favorites! But it’s undoubtedly one of the worst from WWII and certainly one of those that left the deepest impression on me.
