OG Kamala Harris supporter. 💛💜❤️ Always. “encyclopedic knowledge of her record & will vigorously rebut anything inaccurate”. Also like things like Ted Lasso, metal, & pokemon. DM’s allowed. NJ/PA. Likely not looking for your hot takes. Don’t waste my time.
Tbh I don’t even think it’s her opps team. Everyone who recruited this guy either didn’t vet or didn’t care when they found shit. The articles I’ve been sharing the past few days look like this one guy is just actually bothering to read the FEC docs then contacting his campaign.

As far as Democrats go they must reach out to men without selling out any of the base. If they have to sell people out they deserve to lose. You’ve seen a lot of wins recently. You also saw losses recently despite efforts. You ultimately have agency & it’s not a political party’s job to coddle you.

Try to improve yourself. Try to surround yourself with better people. Try to find better role models, whether it’s regarding how you view masculinity specifically or just in general. That doesn’t mean JUST other men. Shut up more than you want to. Listen more instead.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Nobody owes you their time because you feel entitled to it. Nobody owes you forgiveness when you wrong them. You have agency. You need to do the work. Not everyone will agree that you are, or that you have enough, or that you have consistently. Don’t be defensive about it. Thats just more toxicity.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
The point is, men are not perfect. White men especially if we’re just looking at voting history. If I was threading about white supremacy or white patriarchal society more specifically we’d be here all night. They also have agency, & so do those who wish to platform them.

Andy Kim, Roy Cooper, Josh Stein, Mark Kelly, Alex Padilla, Joe Neguse, Hakeem Jeffries, Ras Baraka, Keith Ellison, Michael Regan, Pete Buttigieg?

You have your own examples. You may not agree with every name I just said. You may think me not naming someone is glaring when I’m just spouting off.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
If you NEED examples of positive role models that aren’t of toxic masculinity that MUST come from Democrats in or recently in government they, exist. They’re also not all perfect. Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Wes Moore, Ruben Gallego, Cory Booker, Tim Walz, Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, Robert Garcia…

Masculinity doesn’t always look the same to everyone. But platforming some incel trash, racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, etc, is not it. That shit is weakness. That shit needs to be stamped out, not normalized or treated as a legitimate viewpoint.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
I’m not sure who you try to claim you are as you as a man if you don’t feel people (like Harris & since) are making efforts by focusing on things like cheaper housing, cheaper groceries, affordable meds & healthcare inc mental health, having the rights of people in your life protected, & more.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Kamala Harris held events in barbershops & restaurants. Supporters had zoom calls. She had an economic agenda for Black men specifically. There’s a Congressional Dad’s Caucus. There are examples of men improving themselves in media. There are volunteer organizations. Mentors exist. Teachers exist.

In the short term, instead of trying to rehab anyone like a so-called comedian who says horrific things, or an open racist in the past who wants a seat of authority in government, if people care about Democrats appealing to men they need to appeal directly as an alternative to all the harmful trash.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
In the longterm, men need better role models & to l take some fucking responsibility for themselves. They shouldn’t HAVE to look at politicians, athletes, musicians, etc. Not everyone has good figures in their personal life. Some people have shitty dads, brothers, uncles, cousins, friends, etc.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
People have agency. Younger men are not forced to indulge in content from shitty “manosphere” podcasters on the right, antisemitic far leftists, or shitty & typically ableist & sexist white guys in the middle. Their parents aren’t forced to not be parents either.

Was Ras being a man a factor in getting his charges dropped more quickly? Maybe to an extent. He IS a popular Mayor & was a Gubernatorial candidate at the time. He’s also the son of Amiri Baraka. But is the difference in news coverage a bit noticeable when both cases are outrageous? Absolutely.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
But it’s noticable that the reaction about Rep McIver’s case still continuing is not getting the same steady & consistent outcry of support. Maybe it’s anecdotal to my experience but I’m seeing a hell of a lot more support from her House colleagues or from Black women than anybody else.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Mayor Ras Baraka had his charges dropped. His sham charges stemmed from the same visit. He is a Black man. Rep Menendez, a Cuban-American man, & Rep Watson Coleman, another Black woman, were threatened w/ charges but not charged. White electeds showed solidarity w/ Baraka & McIver after the fact.

Jack ran A LOT of ads attacking transgender people & NJ’s sanctuary status. I don’t think attacking a marginalized group or demonizing immigrants is “manly”.

Earlier today Rep. LaMonica McIver’s sham charges for oversight at the Delaney Hall ICE facility were NOT thrown out. She is a Black woman.

What may matter to white men as opposed to Black men or Latino men may not always be the same.

Look at how Sherrill performed in Hispanic municipalities, because she just won my state by about 14 points when it was expected to be close. Then square it with her not even winning 50% of white voters.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
If you want a bottom line answer, men have to suck less, especially white men. Democrats haven’t won white voters as a bloc since the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. There’s racism involved. There’s sexism. There’s misogynoir. You can’t overlook that just because it’s easier that way.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Because this needs to be spelled out every time it’s said, the base of the Democratic Party is Black voters, particularly Black women. Jewish voters are also very important to this. This isn’t ideological. These groups are not monolithic.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
In the context of electing more Democrats & “winning back men”, there’s not a one-size-fits-all & there is not a quick fix. That does not mean you dismiss people or sell people out because there’s a guy you want to rehab & sell as a way to pitch men. If you sell out the base you deserve to lose.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
If you have a podcast, blog, a news show, or just a social media platform, you theoretically have agency over what you’re saying. If someone wants to rehab themselves they are not owed your space. Boundaries expand past those aforementioned personal ones that people should create for themselves.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
If I hurt somebody because I say something bad or do something bad, it’s their right to say I’m not welcome back even if I’m genuine & remorseful. It’s also their right to say I’m not welcome in the first place. Nobody owes you their time, no matter how you may like to talk to them.
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 AM
It doesn’t mean you’re owed a platform, whether it’s the same career (ie look at wrestling), being welcomed back into a recreational space (social media friend groups, video game spaces etc), or being elected to office (Senate, House, etc). It doesn’t mean others owe you help along the way either.
