All we had to do was sit & pray that they'd be blessed by Mortdog that day hahaha. We were usually really lucky with our picks, but just *this* one was so unfortunate.

It's crazy how small things can have massive impact. I'm really sad for missing Macao, but instead of mourning, all I can do is take the best thing out of meh situations.

So now I'm probably the only (or one of the only) LATAM official watchparty for Macao! Gotta continue the work somehow, no?

We gambled 4 points on Relic. We'd get 0 points if he got Day 1'd, but points doubled if he made it to Day 2.

If Ahri decided to show up earlier and make Relic's life easier, we would have had 141 costreamer points, managed to win the entire thing back to back, and I'd be in Macao.

Sadness 😔

Unfortunately, it was an unlucky day with power problems and massive lowrolls 😔

There was a chance to bounce back on the final game. It was an easy Ahri reroll game that could net Relic a Top 2 and qualify...

But the game gave him the final Ahri in 5-2 😢 he fell behind, went 6th and got Day 1'd.

It was a high-risk decision, so we decided to bet on one of our LATAM players: Relic.

Who's Relic? Historically, he's one of the best LATAM players, and he had almost won Tactician's Cup 3, so it was a good risk.

It was time for the final event of TFT Americas: the Golden Spatula.

One of the challenges was a wager: you could bet on some players, and based on their performance, you'd win (or lose) points. "Gamble" is the correct word here, since TFT's luck could decide to work against our pick at anytime.

Set 12 started, and we wanted to get back-to-back 1st place so I could also travel.

The competition was harder now, since more content creators realized the big prize looming in the horizon.

Nevertheless, we still tried, we grinded, we did the challenges, and we were basically tied for 1st.

Set 11 was a blast. We had a lot of fun covering the events, RinconTFT was thriving, and we easily got 1st place in the costreaming program.

Tini won the rights for the prize, and she's working with Riot LATAM to do press coverage on-site 🥳 really proud of her and what she has achieved!!

We have an esports channel called "RinconTFT", built from the ground up by myself and an amazing person called Tini.

We created that space in Set 6 so we could work as a beacon for LATAM's competitive scene, so this was a natural thing to apply to 😌

The "Creator Streaming Program" is an esports project that started in Set 11. You could apply, receive permits to costream all the TFT events of the Set, and win prizes!

If you were the best costreamer of the Set, you'd win a Spectator Pass + Flight + Hotel to the Macao Open... all paid by Riot!

I know!! It felt so chaotic and I loved it 🥲 hopefully it's just disabled temporarily and it comes back

The competition is really strong! From yesterday to today the cutoff rose up to challenger
