Check these out, it is cool, I am in it, but it is a thing of beauty too.

Sadly, my first cat Ziggy passed away earlier this year.

But now we have Special Agent Dale Cooper to keep us safe.

Yes - ignore those. I like books on horror, obscure Arrow Blu-ray releases and fine cheeses.

Only just now saw about Drew Struzan. So much beautiful artwork for fans of film, he was absolutely peerless. It's hard to pick just one, but I will always love The Thing perhaps the most.

Fixed it.

Had planned that my October reading to be A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny.

Reader, can you notice what I only just noticed?

Also, I would be lying if I said Lynch's final sign off wasn't a little bit emotional.

Man, that was fun.

Such was Lucas's love for Walt's final film that he includes the name Chewbacca as a subtle nod to it in Star Wars. You can see it even down to Chewbacca's original design being distinctly ape inspired before settling on the more doglike final vision.

Having finished Andor, rewatching Rogue One and this time round spotted the Ghost. You can see it around seventeen minutes in the top left of my bad photo.

Sorting through my Nan's old things for disposal, and find this cool Agfa Billy Record folding camera. It's quite tempting to figure out how it works and get some 120 film for it...

I made a wedding card for my friend and I am very fond of it.

19. Friday 13th Part 2 (1981)
I watched the original many years ago and thought it was awful. But since they're on one of Many Subscription Services™ I thought I'd watch another.

It's far, far better than you would think. Even effective in some places.

Watching Twin Peaks with my wife, and it is amazing how it pulls us into the mood it wants, regardless of how we may feel going in.

Compare to the nothing of Lost, which is too short to skip.

18. Return of the Living Dead 3 (1993)
One of those films that had it been made only a year later would have been straight to video. Nobly tries to do something else with zombies, but doesn't land the emotional hefty to pull it off. Felt weirdly reminiscent of Hellraiser 3.

17. The Monkey (2025)
Loved it. Takes a thin but fun Stephen King story and makes something sillier, funnier, gorier and with heart too. My regret is not seeing sooner with a bigger crowd.

16. Vivarium (2020)
Basically a feature length Twilight Zone episode, which is fine. Good performances throughout, and always admire a film that refuses answers. I would have absolutely killed that kid though.

15. 12 Angry Men (1957)
That's a bit bloody good.
