I did some Christmas baking today.
I made a sheet of good old traditional Scottish Shortbread, and they turned out great.
I'm really pleased with it.
I'm shocked at how much butter goes into these.
Next up, I'm going to try making some chocolate mousse cookies.

Over the last month I've finally gotten back to pickleball after a 3 month long recovery from a non pickleball related injury.
I'm finding my aerobic fitness is coming back as I've gotten back to 3 x. 1.5 hour matches per week.
However my actual game is still a bit up and down.
Drilling is next plan

Got out to Corte Kitchener, and played 2 hours of pickleball with a group of members.
It was such a fun time. Very even and competitive.
A lot of great play by all today.

About 3 blocks from where I worked in was a bar called the El Mocambo.
It was a pretty historic bar and in fact looked who showed up there one night in 1977
This was a historic night for both the Rolling Stones and apparently, Margaret Trudeau
