Reminds me that my chemistry teacher told us that the Bunsen burner was named after its inventor, Peter Desaga.
Got me confused and intrigued enough to look up the story, so I suppose it worked!

I used to walk around school on wet days saying to soggy pupils (& colleagues) "You want to get one of these, they're great!"
