Spacecraft could soon carry sophisticated polarisation-sensitive optics, using metasurfaces a tiny fraction of current optics. Plus they can analyse & filter all polarisations which boosts satellite imaging.

Add alkali gas (sensitive to laser) to noble gas (invisible, like a ghost) pulse mag/laser fields & watch the magnetic dance, of precession
