Looking forward to the Nuremberg trials for ICE agents.
A running team from Chicago posted that Trump’s federal agents dragged a runner (67 years old) from his car, broke his ribs, and caused internal bleeding.

If Portland is any indicator, costumes are very, very scary to big, tough federal agents.
"Kids dressed in halloween costumes walking to a parade" do not present an immediate threat to law enforcement officer and riot control measures may not be used, Ellis says.

I was asked to build a website in Solid.js even though I was hired on as a mobile developer.

"Just use Claude, it's very good at Solid.js"

In the amount of time that I've been wrangling with Claude to make this mobile responsive, I could have built it in Flutter several times over.

Senate Democrats say they want to restore American healthcare subsidies. A right wing podcaster says what they really want is to fund sex change operations in Peru. For busy voters, it can be hard to know who to trust.

Trying to learn backend by watching someone prompt Claude is perplexing. Sure, the app will be up and running faster I suppose, but I still don't really know what's going on.

A convo on TikTok lately has been about functional illiteracy. Not about *if* you can read or not, or if you make occasional grammar/spelling mistakes, but if you can actually comprehend the material in front of you.

Think "Bean Soup Theory" but on a larger level. I can't stop seeing it now.

While I'm proficient in Flutter, comfortable in Go, and getting more familiar with AWS services every day, starting a full stack app from zero is still a cloud of mystery.

As a software developer, I suppose it would behoove me to start microdosing Tylenol.

As gruesome as the video is, it's relatively tame compared to what a rifle can do to a skull. Furthermore it happens many times per day in the USA. That's what guns do, that's what they're designed to do. That is what you hold sacred. You look away because your soul supports gun control.

One can be vehemently against political violence while also acknowledging that Kirk was a horrible person that advocated for the very society that ultimately took him out.

I keep seeing warnings about radio active shrimps and isn't that how I'm supposed to get super powers? What else else are they trying to keep from us? (hashtag raw milk logic)

This is not how creatine acts. Dude had too much caffeine, beta alanine (often in creatine products), or b-vitamins which can also feel like the jitters. Lots of creatine based pre-workouts give you "jitters" but that sensation doesn't come from the creatine itself.

Golfer says he ‘overdosed’ on creatine during BMW Championship | CNN
American golfer Ben Griffin got the shakes at the BMW Championship – though it wasn’t necessarily because of nerves, but rather due to swallowing a “large rock” of creatine.

Today I am really missing my old life as a personal trainer and group strength coach. It was a life where I felt like I was making a perceptible positive change in people's lives and the community in general.

I do still love coding and learning about new tech, but it's very isolating.

I know that for health you're supposed to eat a variety of foods. But if I have to figure out a new menu of meals every week, I just *won't eat*.

What I'm reading is that, unlike other AI models, Grok's "red team" reports were looking nasty, and it's only available on the Azure platform to a limited number of inside users as they continue to assess it

So, no, Grok won't be available on MS platforms the way DeepSeek, OpenAI, and others are
Alright, Hitler, you're in. But I'm watching you.
Microsoft is cautiously onboarding Grok 4 following Hitler concerns

I've started using Claude Code as a way to make trial apps to test out software packages I've never used before. Usually this is a time consuming and mind numbing necessity, but using Claude to vibe out these tester apps is, dare I say, fun?
