In big climax with Yelena's sacrfice and all, I realized something;
This was 'Forces of Darkness, Forces of Light'!
From the loneliness and emptyness themes, to Yelena being a 'light' in the dark.

For me, my oldest deck is my Sea Monsters deck. It's old enough that when I first built it, the only reasonable commander was Edric.
And ironically enough, the newest card in it is Kiora herself. Finally allowing me to stop Rule Zeroing a PW as commander.

I've never tried to make it commander viable before, since even in 60-card 1v1, it was a gamble.
But time to try it.

Your talk of Heliod from MOM, made me realize it may be the perfect commander to try to rebuild an old kitchen table deck I called Flood.
It was a 'mill' deck by way of forced card draw. :)

I love the 'soft' feel to the way you finish your colors. (Not sure if there's a term for that)
I've only got the one ref of my OC, Nishara, my current Pathfinder character.

But in addition to Enchanted Evening, there's a new Room that can do it too; Secret Arcade

I didn't get in DVD right away, due to college and region, but pretty sure the Matrix was my first. (Though it could also have been Donnie Darko or Run Lola Run), yknow, pretentious starter pack.

And it occurred to me that the #mtg community has their own maxim that might help folks absorb this lesson.

This is Nishara, my Gloomblade fighter, from my current Pathfinder game.

Temur is interesting, if maybe a little awkward. G for the nature aspect, but it has to also be UR for the mechanics.
(I'd almost lean Storm straight simic myself)
But yeah, Storm causes Storms, pretty simple
Though, tagged onto a combat trigger, could make an interesting deck

Gruul is pretty essentially Logan.
Deals damage beyond his small stature. And it gets worse as his 'rage builds' as it were. Cute.
And regeneration of course.
Though the subtle fun thing is, it's going to be a fun card to 'fling'. (Flavor fail tho, doesn't actually work with fling)

Selesnya, for community.
Putting counters on lands, only to move them later. Interesting way to lean on the Vibranium aspect of the character. Doesn't get into the spiritual aspects, but a rather unique, if roundabout mechanic.
However, it interacts well with counter modifiers.

He's izzet with flying and haste of course.
Attacking creating a treasure token, which you can sac to fetch more toys. Or save and sac other things to get bigger toys.
Does a decent job of implying Tony's wealth, as well as evoking his 'called armor'.
Saheeli/Brudiclad will like this.

MC order swapped, because of course.
Hero is curious typing, I'll get into that later.
He's got his iconic shield throw, complete with ricochet. Along with a free 'catch'. Basically the baseline Cap gimmick.
Nothing that screams Cap as a character, but a cute build around.

This is Nishara, by Aquatic Elf Gloomblade Fighter, for an upcoming Pathfinder game.
Also, the first character art I've ever had commissioned! By hingrygimli over on Tumblr.
