I just pitched the idea of my D&D character steadily turning evil throughout our campaign to my DM and he's all over it. I cannot wait. Right now she's the moral compass of the group, but arguably also the onr with the most reasons to go off the deep end

Every person has my respect until they earn my disrespect. The way older folks have gone about chasing money and power at the cost of their descendants' future is not deserving of any respect. It also doesn't touch on how you blatantly disrespect us without reason for pretty much everything.
Overwhelmingly the ageism on Bluesky comes from millennials. I don't understand what seems to have broken down in terms of honoring one's elders with too many (not all! but too many) millennials. There's an interesting sociological study that needs to be done on this.

I've never understood continuing to lose your shit at a frontline worker after you've been reminded that they didn't make the rules or change the prices. Like, calm down and stop reducing workers to tears because you're an ignorant bitch.
You know it's not the checker's fault prices went up, right?
I will never understand people who yell and bitch at checkers at grocery or home improvement, etc places.
They gotta stand there all day listening to assholes complaining and giving them shit.
